INSTALLATION - 14th OCTOBER, 2009
 

 

On Wednesday 14th October St. Austins Lodge of Royal Ark Mariners No. 479 had the pleasure of receiving W.Bro. Barry Elman R.A.M.G.R.as its principle guest as the representative of the R.W.Prov. Grand Master for the Lodge Installation.

The Installation ceremony was delivered by the installing Commander Bro. Alan Briggs with his usual flair and expertise. Bro. Alan Installed his successor Bro. Alan Blackstone- Senior Warden as Worshipful Commander with great sincerity, with W.Bro. Frank Austin Starkey R.A.M.G.R. presenting the Keystone Jewel and Mark Benevolent collars and Jewels addresses.

The new Commander W.Bro. Alan Blackstone appointed and Invested the following Officers for the ensuing year.

W.Bro. Barry Elman brought greeting and best wishes from the Rt.W.Prov.G.M. and then received a donation of a cheque for £100.00 to West Lancashire Mark Charity Fund.

A very pleasant evening was had by all present.
